Did anyone else see Melania Trump shoot her husband some serious daggers as he gave a speech for Hispanic Heritage Month? It was when he put a painful amount of emphasis on ‘Puerto’ while talking about Puerto Rico.
Donald Trump said: ‘We’re also praying for the people of Puerhto Rico, we love Puerhto Rico.’ At that point, she fires over some big eye bullets and almost looks scared. I’m not sure if she knew whether he was joking or not. But after it became apparent it was (a very bad joke), she broke out in a Cheshire Cat grin.

Lol, it was just a joke after all. Phew. (Picture: whitehouse.gov)
‘Puerhto Rico,’ he continued, in case you didn’t hear it the second time. ‘And we also love Porto Rico.’ Trump was talking about his recent visit, which was a catalog of awkward scenes.
The most notable was the time he launched paper towels into the crowd like he was playing basket ball, or firing cheap merchandise from a T-shirt gun at a football game. People weren’t quite sure what to think. Sure, they were getting free paper towels, but at what cost? Take a look:

He then found himself in a awkward situation when he told off Puerto Rico for spending more than it should have done on hurricane recovery. He said: ‘Now, I hate to tell you, Puerto Rico, but you’ve thrown our budget a little out of whack.’
Realizing what he’s said (and that numerous people have died), he begins to backtrack so fast. Trump continued: ‘We’ve spent a lot of money on Puerto Rico and that’s fine, we’ve saved a lot of lives. ‘If you look at the — every death is a horror — but if you look at a real catastrophe like Katrina, and you look at the tremendous hundreds and hundreds and hundreds that died, and you look at what happened here with really a storm that was just totally over powering, nobody’s ever seen anything like this — what is your death count?

’16 people versus in the thousands. You can be very proud. 16 versus literally thousands of people.’ Painful.
The president also handed out flashlights at a church, where 200 people cheered his arrival and crowded around him getting pictures on their cellphones. ‘There’s a lot of love in this room, a lot of love,’ Trump said. ‘Great people.’
