The stunning emerald green down featured a Grecian inspired pleaded skirt and embroidery.
It has since been revealed the gown is from designer Missoni.
The metallic crochet-knit gown, retails for $1,880 (£1,456.80) on Net-a-Porter.

Melania, Donald and Barron were pictured walking across the South Lawn of the White House in Washington DC today to board Marine One as they headed for their weekend away at Camp David.
The couple were also joined by Donald’s daughter Ivanka Trump, 35, and her family – husband Jared Kushner, 36, their sons Theodore, 1, and Joseph, 3, and their daughter Arabella, 6.
Melania is becoming somewhat of a style icon, and is beginning to have the ‘Kate-effect’ for some fashion brands.
She stepped out in a £2000 Delpozo dress on Wednesday, and the gown sold out in minutes.
The white dress featured wide shoulder straps, a nipped-in waistband and a grey and yellow skirt.
She added nude suede heels to the look and dark sunglasses.
Melania is a fan of the brand and has worn their designs a few times. The brand is known for their bold colours and ladylike shapes.
The First Lady wore a navy blue Delpozo dress with a hot pink and red design.
She wore the dress for a day in Poland with Agata Kornhauser-Duda, the wife of the Polish President.
