Mysterious Picture Of Melania Trump’s Gift To Donald Posted Online & Twitter Is Freaking Out

As the Trump family continues to go on living as though all is well in the world, there remain millions of Americans ready to remind them that this is not the case.

At least, that’s the exceedingly obvious message to be drawn from what’s going on here. On Twitter this past week, Melania Trump posted an image of a birthday card she sent her husband. At least, that’s what it seems to be; although it seems somewhat awkward for Melania to refer to her husband as “Mr. President” instead of his first name.

Twitter promptly zeroed in on a blemish in the card and used it as a jumping off point to ridicule the Trumps. Indeed, the Trumps, in that they are a reality TV and modelling family turned First Family, attract ridicule.

You can see the card that Melania posted below. The inside isn’t pictured, and the only caption is a few emojis.

There is, as you may notice, a small blemish of some sort in about the middle of the card, between the phrases “Happy birthday” and “Mr. President.”

Vice News journalist Sarah Jeong pointed out the blemish in a Twitter post, writing, “What is thaaat” alongside a series of screenshots.

Boy, did Twitter have some answers for Jeong.

Answers to Jeong’s rhetorical question include that the blemish is everything from “a single golden tear” to “her husband’s thumbprint” to a “microdot communicating to Russians, obviously.”

Check out some of the best replies to Jeong’s tweet, hilariously absentmindedly speculating on the nature of the blemish, below.

Melania has borne the brunt of mocking criticism for her husband’s presidential administration in the past.

For instance, while the president was on his recent inaugural trip overseas, something happened between Melania and Donald that caught the world’s attention. While disembarking a plane in Israel, Donald reached for Melania’s hand, and she slapped it away.

Melania’s office eventually explained the gesture as an attempt on the First Lady’s part to respect the customs associated with their diplomatic arrival in the country.

We will likely never have a similar explanation for this card’s blemish.

Trump’s birthday, by the way, was last Wednesday.
