Today, President Trump begins his Obamacare dismantling by signing an executive order undermining the healthcare coverage that saved millions of Americans.
Following his remarks about the action, the scatterbrained commander-in-chief turned to his left and walked over to lawmakers, greeting each of them as he moved to exit the room, without actually signing the order.
Vice President Mike Pence frantically chased Trump down and turned him back toward the wooden desk, where the order was waiting to be signed.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Trump’s dementia got the best of him. Pence was also on hand this past spring when Trump started to leave a signing ceremony for executive orders related to American trade policy. Nevertheless, the so-called president certainly was in a rush to get out of there – before AND after the signing. You can always tell when he’s dismissing a group when he uses his go-to “thank you, thank you, everybody” gesture to brush them away. He must have been really eager to post a tweet about how he is lowering our quality of life in the U.S by signing this bill.
