Former Vice President Joe Biden came down hard on the white nationalists’ violence against counter protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia. The hate-filled group was one of the largest in recent years, and they came prepared for a fight with bats, guns, and brass knuckles. The scene became even more horrific.
One person was killed and 19 injured when one of the white nationalists plowed his car into a group protesting against his group, throwing several bodies into the air. The second in command to President Barack Obama would have none of it and showed Donald Trump how to be presidential.
Biden was straight-forward as always, tweeting “No. Not in America:”
‘No. Not in America. We must be stronger, more determined and more united than ever. Racism and hate have no place here. ‘

People knew exactly where Big Joe stood on the matter. There was none of Donald Trump’s squishy “both sides” language. Biden saw the violence for what it was – home-grown terrorism.
Podcaster for students at the University of Virginia, Robert Armengol was in the midst of the violence, and reported to The New York Times:
‘It was probably the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. After that it was pandemonium. The car hit reverse and sped and everybody who was up the street in my direction started running.’
Police have the man who ran over people in custody, and Governor Terry McCauliffe declared a state of emergency. The white nationalists had come to protest the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue. They came carrying Confederate flags and chanting Nazi slogans like “You will not replace us,” “Blood and soil,” and “Jews will not replace us.”
As soon as Biden’s tweet appeared, people began calling for him to come back and lead the country as they knew a real president should. Check out some of the best responses below:
Can we finally stop with the memes of toothless tRump supporters and recognize the REAL problem that tRump has awakened? Racism everywhere.

Unfortunately sir, this IS America. And Trump gave the white supremacists & neo nazis a free pass to bring hate & violence into the open.
